During the first week of September, Pix Force completed the 1st phase of the Shell Startup Challenge program. The solution under development is a continuous monitoring system for potential oil spills in oceanic regions, using Machine Learning algorithms capable of continuously analyzing satellite images, ground radars, and thermal cameras. The final tests of the 1st phase took place at the TechnipFMC facilities, in the UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro) technology park, under the supervision of Marcelo Mofati, Senior Manager of Technology Partnerships at Shell Brasil, who declared he was pleased with the project's progress.
