The only startup selected with three projects in the second phase of the IA² MCTI acceleration program, Pix Force establishes itself as a reference in promoting solutions enabled by Artificial Intelligence applied to images in the Brazilian market. From now on, the startup will work with three anchor companies in the search for greater efficiency in production scale. Natura and Cipatex form a direct partnership with Pix Force, while Neoenergia will work together with Pix Grid, Pix Force's vertical in the electricity sector, developed thanks to the acceleration work carried out in the first stage of IA². Click here to learn more about the acceleration process that resulted in the creation of Pix Grid. In total, three projects will be developed, each of them with one of the anchor companies linked to Pix Force and Pix Grid through IA² MCTI. All companies participated in the program's public notice in the phase called Screening, having access to the portfolio of startups selected in the first stage of IA². After long rounds of pitches and meetings, the possibilities of joint work between companies and startups in acceleration were evaluated, which will receive investment from the Federal Government to promote solutions to the market. This means a reduction in risk for the selected companies, which will share part of the project costs with the public sector. In addition to the benefit for the anchor companies, IA² MCTI enables startups to secure better negotiation terms. After all, during the first stage of acceleration, solutions for the market were already built, meaning startups do not need to create extremely specific products that can only meet the needs of the selected company, among other disadvantages. Winner of the #1 startup award in Artificial Intelligence in the 100 Open Startups ranking, Pix Force develops solutions using Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, generating information through automatic acquisition and interpretation of images and videos. The acceleration process carried out in the first stage of IA² has enabled Pix Force to develop solutions and business models tailored to its clients' pain points, bringing technology adaptability as one of its advantages. As the CEO of Pix Grid, Heitor Tosetto, explains, the acceleration program enabled the development of a relationship of trust with the market, causing the startup to actively act in the expansion of technological advancement in the national scenario. Quote: "The success of IA² is a clear example of the reach that well-structured public policies can have in incorporating Artificial Intelligence into the Brazilian market" states Heitor Tosetto, CEO of Pix Grid.

Understand the IA² MCTI Program
The IA² MCTI Program's central objective is to foster technological innovation and competitiveness in the Brazilian market, promoting high-impact solutions that incorporate Artificial Intelligence for four priority areas: agribusiness, health, industry, and smart cities. The initiative by the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovations (MCTI) in conjunction with Softex aims to evolve competitiveness in the productive sector, promoting healthy economic growth for the country. Started in 2020, the program involved different fronts of the innovation ecosystem, bringing together startups, accelerators, anchor companies, and research institutions in the field of Information and Communication Technology. Throughout the first phase of IA², Pix Force underwent a mentoring process and technical support from ICTs (Science and Technology Institutes) and accelerators with applied experience in Artificial Intelligence. The startup also received financial investment, including resources from the Federal Government via ICTs in the form of a non-repayable grant, meaning financing that does not need to be repaid, since its goal is to foster technological advancement in the country.
Benefits for the market
According to an estimate for 2021 made by IDC, a consultancy specialized in market intelligence, Artificial Intelligence is expected to generate investments of US$ 464 million in Brazil, which proves the market's interest in promoting intelligent solutions for its pain points through the introduction of new technologies. The saving of financial resources may be just one of the benefits that solutions promoted by Artificial Intelligence bring to the market. Research indicates a decrease in spending for the industry of up to R$ 35 billion per year, if technology is used as an ally in equipment maintenance. In this scenario, gains in productive efficiency could correspond to savings of R$ 31 billion.
